Tax Season 2022
SARS has just released the dates for Tax Season 2022 for individuals (corporates are required to submit tax returns within 12 months after their financial year-end). Please take note of the following dates:

1 July 2022 to 24 October 2022 This is the period for non-provisional taxpayers who file online via Efiling. |
1 July 2022 to 23 January 2023 This is the period for provisional taxpayers, including trusts, who file online via Efiling. |

Once again, SARS will be issuing auto-assessments to many taxpayers. It is important to be aware that taxpayers should not simply accept the auto-assessments – it is advisable that every assessment be checked.
